ROLE DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Proactively assist in sales growth initiatives through outbound calls, virtual meetings and in office appointments.
  • General Office Tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Organizational skills
  • Self-motivated to meet goals and work in a team environment
  • Detail oriented and Critical Thinking are key assets
  • Microsoft Office Suite Experience & Full Keyboarding Skills required
  • Familiarity of general office & phone etiquette highly desired
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Property & Casualty Insurance Licensing in MI and/or Wisconsin Required or the ability to attain.
  • Successfully pass a Criminal Background check.

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm.
Compensation: $21.00 per hour
